Aurelia Nieves-Callwood

Born in New York City, Aurelia grew up with a great appreciation for the arts. The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Carnegie Hall were no strangers to Aurelia and her family. Aurelia's greatest challenge is to capture, on canvas the beauty she sees in the world especially in Bucks County and its surrounding areas. At first she copied the masters and then proceeded to develop her own style. Aurelia is self-taught. Her work is described as realistic impressionism with a strong sense of color. Aurelia moved to Bucks County, Pennsylvania in 1990. She was transferred by her company, the American Bank Note Company, a maximum security printing firm, where she worked as the company's archivist and product manager for over twenty years. The...
